To address the challenges of young users, DIETZ has innovatively merged the Sego Junior seating system with the Sango Advanced to introduce the Sango Advanced Junior, and paired the Sango Slimline with the Sego Junior, creating the DIETZ Power Sango Slimline Sego Junior. The versatile modularity of the Sango wheelchair series ensures that all components above the base drive unit are shared with the Sango Advanced or Sango Slimline model.

The DIETZ Power SANGO Junior is built on the high-performance SANGO Advanced and comes equipped with a Sego Junior seat system which is very comfortable and can be made to fit a smaller body precisely. This makes it perfect for users who do not weigh more than 75 kg, have a much more slender build, or are younger users. Additionally, there’s a Slimline version available, reducing total width to just 53cm – offered for RWD and MWD (5-wheel) models. This range of setups highlights its flexibility and dedication to delivering an ideal mobility solution tailored to the distinct needs and lifestyles of its younger users.

Full Range of Powered Adjustments

The DIETZ Power SANGO Junior powered wheelchair junior seating system is ideal for smaller users, who just need a little support from their seat cushion and backrest – the narrow seats and backrests mean the user can be kept in position and stable, improving their comfort. This means that Dietz is providing a powered wheelchair offering a wide range of seat and backrest cushions, including various cushion sizes, different finishing materials, and foams, all tailored precisely to fit a smaller body. The system also features ergonomic seating and positioning, including a contoured anatomically formed seat board, thigh supports with powered adjustments to the seat lift, backrest cushions, tilt, recline, and legrest.

Controls can be individually programmed to suit user needs, ensuring that every user can find their perfect sitting position and maintain an optimal posture throughout the day. Furthermore, the Sango Junior electric wheelchair has been crash-tested according to ISO 7176-19 and approved for passenger transport in a vehicle, providing reassurance regarding safety during travel. While optimised for indoor use, the Sango MWD also delivers impressive performance outdoors, providing excellent traction and a comfortable ride.
DIETZ Power Sango FWD: Designed for those seeking a balance of indoor agility and outdoor capability, the Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) option offers a great turning radius for indoor spaces and large front wheels to tackle outdoor challenges effortlessly. Notably, this choice is exclusive to the Sango Advanced Sego Junior, not the Slimline version.
DIETZ Power Sango RWD: Tailored for users valuing outdoor performance, the Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) setup shines with superior traction and stability, particularly at higher speeds. This option allows for extra upgrades like sprung front forks for enhanced comfort and a kerb climber to easily conquer curbs up to 9cm high. Like the FWD option, the RWD is solely offered for the DIETZ Sango Advanced Sego Junior.

Grows With You

The base of the chair is the same as the Sango Advanced frame and the Sango Slimline frame, meaning that the Sango Junior can still be used once they’ve grown out of the seating system – all that needs to be done is some adjustments to the frame to allow for bigger seat systems to fit on the chair! This means a whole new powerchair doesn’t need to be bought, only the bigger seating system.
